VertiGrow conducted its first successful mini-pilot project in the slum communities of Kibera, Kenya in August of 2009. We sincerely thank our field partner Carolina for Kibera, as well as the Harvard Initiative for Global Health for the supporting grant.

The initial community feedback on our preliminary prototypes has been extremely helpful as we work to further develop the VertiGrow device and to push it to market.
